~Lordoden

So much has happened since my last journal entry that I don't even know where to begin. I suppose a good place would be the most obvious change. I've moved from Toledo, Ohio to Atlanta Georgia. The difference is beyond massive. Its almost mind-boggling. My apartment is nice, my roommates are cool, and I'm settled in pretty well to life here. I have however, yet to find employment here, which is going to be a problem soon. I miss the hell out of my friends and my family.

My new computer is up and running thanks to the machinations of of my more technologically gifted friends. unfortunately, a good portion of what i had before has been lost. including one or two projects in the works that i quite simply don't have the motivation to start again... I'm working on some other stuff though, which promises to be pretty awesome.

There's a comic shop not far from our place which is beyond awesome. They also carry anime merchandise, so I'm completely hooked. They have a rental business as well, with quite a selection of hentai, which my roommate has taken full advantage of >.> mostly for the lulz... mostly... We were there tonight to return some stuff and we made our first comic purchases, the Atomic Robo mini series, and the first issue of The Dresden Files. I wanted more, but my sense of reason (and my stomach) objected on the basis that i had already made purchases earlier today at Fry's Electronics. (Soul Calibur 3 and an optical mouse) We also spent about 45 minutes chatting with a couple girls who were there browsing the manga. One of them was really cute, but also probably a lesbian. The other one was not as cute, and far too into the yaoi for my tastes... pretty sure she bought bout 60 bucks worth of the stuff...

I dream about being back home a lot, or about being with the people from back home at least. Then again, i also regularly dream about running... neither of those things is plausible any time soon... Sorry Anne, you'll have to see Batman without me...
